    Summary: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as part of its
    Greater Research Opportunities (GRO) program, is offering Graduate Fellowships
    for master's and doctoral level students in the environmental fields of study.
    Subject to availability of funding, the Agency plans to award approximately 15 new
    fellowships. Master's level students may receive support for
    a maximum of two years. Doctoral students may be supported for a maximum of
    three years, usable over a period of four years.

    Title: NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

    NSF invites applications for funding under the Graduate Research Fellowship program. This program provides three years of support for graduate study leading to research-based master's or doctoral degrees and is intended for students who are at the early stages of their graduate study. Approximately $40.5 million in FY 2006 funding is expected to be available for 1000 awards. Eligible are U.S. citizens, or permanent residents of the U.S., who have completed no more than 12 months of full-time graduate study. Applicants must affiliate with an accredited U.S. university, college or nonprofit academic institution or appropriate international institution of higher education offering advanced degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics prior to activating the fellowship
